Creación de un proyecto eTwinning. LOOK AROUND MY LANDSCAPE

About the project

In this project our pupils will raise awareness of the nearby rural space by analysing the natural and agricultural landscape and will study the primary sector activities in their area: agriculture , farming and fishing. They will also compare them with those activities in different countries and environments by sharing information ( photographs, videos, slides,...) and, communicate with pupils from other different geographical areas in Europe ( specially in Northern Europe).

AIMS

Our pupils should:
-improve their skills in technical vocabulary related to agriculture, fishing and farming and in oral communication.
-increase their knowledge about their natural environment.
-raise awareness of the characteristics of the nearby natural spaces and the impact of human activities on them.

WORK PROCESS

1.-Create the climograph and analyse the characteristics of the climate ,flora and fauna of the area.
2.-Share images of the agricultural landscape and analyse the characteristics of crops, techniques and the impact on the environment of human activities.
3.-Study the characteristics of the fisheries in he area ( fishing techniques, species captured and commercialization) and share and compare this information.
4.-Share all the information using twinspace and publish it in the School Newspaper.

EXPECTED RESULTS

-improvement in language skills specifically in technical vocabulary related to agriculture, fishing and farming and in oral communication.
-an increase in knowledge about their natural environment.
-best awareness of the characteristics of the nearby natural spaces and the impact of human activities on them.
